If you love carrot cake, you will love this recipe! Quick, nutritious and easy, this oatmeal recipe is perfect for those cold, winter morning.


+ 1 large carrot, grated

+ 70g oatmeal

+ 1 tsp cinnamon

+ 1/4 tsp nutmeg

+ 1/2 tsp ground ginger

+ 1 tsp vanilla essence

+ 1 scoop of soy vanilla protein (optional)

+ diary free dark chocolate (optional)


1. Heat the grated carrot in a microwave until soft

2. Add oats, spices and vanilla essence to the carrot and cover with water

3. Microwave until cooked to desired consistency


4. In a separate bowl, add water to a scoop of protein to form a ‘frosting’ consistency

5. Top the oats with the frosting and dark chocolate
